Hannah Berson:
For two decades, I’ve watched teams across industries tackle complex challenges under intense pressure. Even the best-intentioned efforts often unravel due to misalignment, unclear priorities, and outdated ways of working.
In 2019, I founded SALT Collaboratory to help teams rethink how they collaborate using Design Thinking. Leaders frustrated with their own rigid systems quickly embraced its creative, engaging mindsets and methods. Recently, we took this further with the creation of PeakForm™ Protocol, a proprietary framework that blends the creative power of Design Thinking with the discipline of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). PeakForm™ has helped healthcare organizations like Delta Dental and Seattle Children’s Hospital sharpen their focus, energize their teams and connect more deeply to their purpose.
Through workshops, webinars, and pro bono work, SALT Collaboratory has partnered with over 30 clients on 50+ projects worldwide, spanning healthcare, real estate, financial services, nonprofits, and manufacturing. I also exchange insights with colleagues in the field through my work as a LUMA Certified Instructor and Mural Professional Network member.
Before founding SALT Collaboratory, I held senior roles at Kearney, Cap Gemini Ernst & Young (CGEY) in London, and Point B in Seattle, where I built the expertise that fuels my work today.
Outside of work, you'll find me exploring the Pacific Northwest, mentor women in business, arranging flowers with friends and spending time with my family.
At the end of the day, I believe it’s never too late to learn something new, challenge old ways of thinking, and find better ways to work and live.

Our Story
The word "SALT" in our name represents what we believe is the missing ingredient in traditional problem solving: Design Thinking. By weaving Design Thinking into everything we do with clients, we help them tackle their toughest challenges to achieve breakthrough results. SALT is also an acronym for the places our founder, Hannah, has lived throughout her diverse life. From South Africa to Seattle, Amsterdam to London, Tel Aviv to Toronto, Hannah's journey has taken her across the globe and exposed her to a wide range of perspectives and experiences.

At SALT Collaboratory, we work with clients across industries and around the world who are looking for new ways of working. We find that the universal language of Design Thinking is equally applicable to our clients in healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, consulting and non-profits in the US, Europe, Australia and Argentina.
